List of the Best Korean Dramas Available for Streaming On Netflix 2018
Here is a list of K-dramas currently streaming on Netflix (updated March 2018). It's pretty great considering that when I first started watching Kdramas on Netflix years ago, they had only three. We've noticed that this is a popular search term, and people have asked us for this list. Netflix rotates their selection of Korean dramas, so we'll try to update this every once in a while. I tried to categorize them as best as possible, but some of them fall under multiple genres. I put symbols next to the ones we've watched to show how we feel about them.
You can find out more about them and other K-dramas we recommend that aren't on Netflix but are on DramaFever or Viki in our post Best Korean Drama Recommendations. There are also links to the ones we've reviewed here on our blog. Have fun watching your favorite K-dramas without commercials!

Pro Tip: You can pull up a full list of Korean dramas on Netflix at any given time by going to www.netflix.com/browse/genre/67879. I like to sort alphabetically instead of looking at the Netflix recommendations because I've often already seen the recommended dramas. If you want Korean movies instead, swap out that number at the end of the URL for 5685.

Note: Netflix swaps out its Korean dramas pretty regularly, so if you see any new ones that have been added and aren't on the list, let us know! Also comment below on which of these you recommend.
After a recent layout switch, we're seeing comments posted before April 7, 2017 missing on a few posts. We're working on a solution, and in the meantime, any new comments you leave will work!

And the movies!!!! My queue is ridiculously full!!
ReplyDeleteDon't even get me started on the movies! I thought about listing them but realized this post would be way too long. Plus the only one I've watched so far is Finding Mr. Destiny, which I recommend.
DeleteWhat about Now and Forever - it is better that An affair to Remember !!!!
DeleteIf you liked Now And Forever, PLEEEASE watch "More Than Blue", I am sure you will love it!
DeleteOh my goodness, my movie queue is ridiculously long as well!!!
ReplyDeleteVampire Prosecutor, Padam Padam and Shut Up are really good - do check them out sometime!! ^^
ReplyDeleteI was reading up on them to try to put them in the right genre today and they all got really good reviews. I think my next drama will be Shut Up Flower Boy Band!
DeleteI agree! Shut Up Flower Boy Band is the first K-Drama I've ever watched. And if they're all going to be this good I have to keep watching!
DeleteBad guy which is excellent. Flames of desire which is good but a little long.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to add those to my list!
DeleteBad guy... LOVED IT!
DeleteGood thing I just struggled on your blog. As I'm currently watching Queen InHyun's Man (however, it's nearly going to end huhu), I'll watch for some new K-stuff on your blog :)
ReplyDeleteLots of love, Maho
http://bitt3r-suess.blogspot.com/
Thanks! How do you like Queen In Hyun's Man?
DeleteThanks for creating this site! 49 days, love, love, love this series. My fave character - the Scheduler(Jung Il Woo), he plays such a great mean guy, loved his one liners and comebacks. As a side question, why does it seem like the majority of hugging is one-sided or they kiss with their eyes open in Kdramas/romantic comedies?
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, the frozen-faced kiss is TERRIBLE, and it happens all the time. If you want some dramas on this list that have more passion in them, I would go with Lie to Me, Flower Boy Ramen Shop, Prosecutor Princess, or Scent of a Woman (purely for the tango scenes). Secret Garden, Protect the Boss, and My Princess also have a fair amount of affection in them, though it is sometimes one sided or wide eyed.
ReplyDeleteI also loved watching 'The king 2 hearts' (starring Lee Seung Gi) !! If you have time, you should check it out... ;p
ReplyDeletehi guys :)
ReplyDeleteI would DEFINITELY recommend watching YOU"RE BEAUTIFUL. It's a great drama and you can watch it without commercial interruptions on Gooddrama.net ..
Also "STARS FALLING FROM THE SKY" is a VERY GOOD DRAMA and it's actuall ythe first drama i ever watched and it got me hooked, so i'd recommend it :
byeee :)
I would totally recommend PLAYFUL KISS and BOYS OVER FLOWERS. PLAYFUL KISS was my first drama and got me hooked. It is a very sweet story. I always watch dramas for the actors so I then watched BOYS OVER FLOWERS which then let me to CITY HUNTER. All of these are great dramas and I would love for everyone to experience the joy that I did while watching!
ReplyDeleteThese you listed are 3 of my favorites. I watched City Hunter first because my daughter called and said "Mom, I found a show I think you will like a lot, but it is Korean". It was my first experience with a Korean show. I watched and was addicted almost immediately. Like you, I am a fan of my favorite actors, so I went onto Boys Over Flowers with Lee Min-ho, which I LOVED with all of its quirkiness and frustrations and I think it will always be my favorite K-drama. I also ended that series slightly obsessed with Kim Hyun-joong! If you like him, you should check him out on Barefoot Friends, a variety show on Dramafever, which I have laughed more through than any show I have ever watched. He is quite an amazing person! Well, that obsession led me to his movie Playful Kiss and although it was slow and frustrating at times I ended up loving it. However, I highly recommend to anyone who watches this series to follow it up with the 7-part webisode series on YouTube, which is quite possibly the best part of the entire experience with this drama series!! Don't miss out on that! Getting back to one of my favorites, Lee Min-ho, I watched Faith, which I am still trying to resolve the final episode in my mind. That was my first series involving time travel so my brain is still trying to process the "how" part! From there I went on to Personal Taste, another with Lee Min-ho. It was quite different from Faith and the others I've mentioned, and so it took me a bit to like it but overall I did like it. There was one scene that gave me goose-bumps all over! Through my new addiction to K-dramas, I have discovered K-Pop (via Lee Min-ho and Kim Hyun Joong/SS501), have started learning the Korean alphabet and language, and in a few years plan on moving to an area with a high population of Koreans so that I can put that new language to good use. Well, after Barefoot Friends I will go onto another series. My daughter has suggested Secret Garden.
DeleteYou should check out My Lovely Sam Soon, Scent of a Woman, The Moon Embraces the Sun, Prosecutor Princess, Cheongdong Alice, The Princess Man, Phoenix, Lovers, Lovers in Paris, Color of A Woman, Dong Yi, May Queen, My Girl, Winter Sonata.
Deleteand Thousand Days Promise (any drama with Kim Rae Won), My Lovely Chunyang (Jae Hee), Gentlemen's Dignity, Love in Harvard, East of Eden.
Deletealso check out these 2 classics: Stairway to Heaven, Dae Jang Gum, Yi San.
Deleteand: What Happened in Bali; Damo; Innocent Man, Bad Love;
Watch Secret Garden. It was so romantic and it was my first exposure to Kdramas so I wasn't as patient as I might have been. I still loved it.
Deleteif you like kim hyun joong you should watch We got Married sesion 1, which was aired on 2008, before he cast in BOF.. It was his first variety show, paired with Hwang Bo, who is older 6 years from him. The show was soooooooo funny, i also cried a lot at the end, because it was so sad.. You should watch...
DeleteExactly the same for me, Kaelene. Playful Kiss was my first, and I was blown away. My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho is probably my favorite, but PK and BOF are way up there.
DeleteI would recommend East of Eden; long but very good.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely check out Queen In Hyun's Man (i watched it on Viki and Dramacrazy.net); it's really good! One of the kdramas I would watch over and over again. What's good about it are the kisses/chemistry, the female lead who loves to find an excuse to kiss the male lead, and the male lead that has the features of a 2nd male lead(kind,smart,overall-not-an-annoying-jerk). Highly recommended.^_^
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! Love this drama and the female lead is so adorable with the male lead I can barely stand it!
DeleteFound your blog thru Viki Blog... forget which one likes Die Hard types should check out the Man From No Where with Won Bin - used to be on Netflix, but I think you can find it also now Hulu - it's a very good action movie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation! My husband watched that one when I wasn't home one day, and he kept saying how much he enjoyed it. Now I will need to watch it too!
DeleteVery good action movie!
DeleteInnocent Man - the best!
ReplyDeleteRecently Netflix hasn't had many new dramas - so I am watching now the ones I avoided. My first was My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and it got me hooked - I then watched Pasta, which was very good in a different way. I think my favorites have been Lie to Me, and Coffee House (on Hulu) because they are unexpected and the actors and scripts are not so predictable or melodramatic (though it is hard to avoid some melodrama). Shut Up let's go was also an amazing and refreshingly different show. City Hunter was extremely far fetched, but good drama. Again, I noticed recently a lot less Korean TV on netflix, or maybe I have just watched so many that I can't find any new ones!
ReplyDeleteAny reccomended korean movies?
ReplyDeleteMy PS Partner on gooddrama.net.... great movie and a killer song at the end.
Deletealways & failan ..good to watch .... my little bride is also great...
Deleteseducing Mr. perfect...daniely henny is smoking hot in it !!!
not sure if they are available on netflix or not but on you tube you can catch them specially always
Shut up flower boy band is amazing I highly HIGHLY suggest it!
ReplyDeleteI would reccomend My princess, playful kiss, you're beautiful, flower boy ramyun shop, boys over flower, stars falling from the sky, city hunter, spring waltz, shining inheritance, the musical, my fair lady, heartstrings. I highly suggest these drama ~_^
ReplyDeleteI wish Netflix would get more! Some of my favorites are off the list! I loved “Prosecutor Princess” and “Secret Garden,” to name a few. “Boys Over Flowers” got me hooked a couple of years ago. Another good one missing now is “Miss Ripley.” I think I read somewhere that many people preferred “Dream High” over “Dream High 2,” but I enjoyed the latter. Really, any drama that I’ve watched from beginning to end is my favorite. And while I did manage to get through “You Are Beautiful,” it didn’t win me as much as it did so many others. And I can barely get pass the third episode of “Heart Strings” featuring two cast members from “You Are Beautiful.” On second though, “City Hunter” upset me toward the end also. Anyway, I could go on all day! Oh crap! I forgot about “49 Days”!!!!!! I wish I could get into the Korean movies, but strangely enough, I need the episodic pacing of the dramas.
ReplyDeleteWho else loves Lee Ki Woo from “Flower Boy Ramen Shop?”
Lee Ki Woo is the best 2 bad hes not in many k dramas but he isin some films on Netflix voices
Deletemy comment is not related to the post...but whats with second lead in all these k dramas..they are always good looking & so loving..my heart breaks every time....
ReplyDeleteonly in boys befor flower i liked main lead more ..
y is it sooo in k drama???
Hello fellow Korean Drama show fans! I need help with a show called "You're The Best Lee Soon Shin". I just want to know if it's on Netflix, if so... Can any of you give me the title of it so I can search and watch it on Netflix? Usually shows in DramaFever have different titles than the ones in Netflix even though it's the same show. Much appreciation! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see this on Netflix, but they do have it on Hulu.
DeleteIt's still airing, so it won't be out yet. I hope it goes to Netflix once it's done. For now, Hulu is your best best. (Unless you know Korean and can find it on one of their sites.
DeleteLove your blog! I would recommend: Boys Over Flowers, Bread Love & Dreams, City Hunter, Creating Destiny, Full House, Lie to Me, My Princess, Pasta, Protect the Boss, and Secret Garden. I didn't really like Flower Boy Ramen Shop and You're Beautiful because I just wasn't won over by the male lead and the female lead was such a doormat that it got on my nerves. 49 Days was also good, but I cried so much toward the end! If I had to pick a top three out of my list: Boys Over Flowers, Full House and Protect the Boss.
ReplyDeleteWatch 200 Pound Beauty!!! It's a great movie!!
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to search on Netflix to see all of the Korean dramas and Korean movies they have for streaming? I only have the DVD rental plan right now with them but I am going to be switching to streaming. But now when I search under "korean" to see what DVD's they have, they don't all come up. For example, they have the drama "Shoot for the Star's" on DVD, which I found by searching for the title, but it doesn't come up when I search their Korean section. I'm sure there are a lot of dramas and movies I haven't heard of yet so I wouldn't know the titles to search for.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there's a way to search for them on Netflix, but if you look up some specific ones from our list, Netflix will automatically create a category of Korean shows and movies. That's what happened for me, at least. You can also browse the "foreign language" category. They might have a subcategory for Korean films. Good luck!
Deletetv shows category, with sub category korean television
DeleteMy favorite kdrama so far has to be Baker King Kim Takgu or "Bread Love Dreams" on Netflix. I adored Kim Takgu's character which Yoon Shi Yoon absolutely nailed, and Eugene has to be the most beautiful and graceful Korean actress I've seen yet. I was unsure about the theme around bread before I started but it was done really well. I loved that it was actually a bit longer series to really develop the wonderful storyline and was a refreshing departure from the romcoms I normally watch. I really liked that it had positive messages underneath all of the corruption and betrayal instead of just another conflicted girl deciding between some chaebol jerk and the nice guy. Even the hubby watched with me which he never does when I go to Koreatown as he says ha!
ReplyDeleteFor feel good dramas, I recommend Protect The Boss and Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. I'm also partial to Playful Kiss even though some parts aggravated me.
Of course Boys Over Flowers is a classic to be watched at least once.
QUEEN SEON DOK, DREAM HIGH AND MOON EMBRACING THE SUN MY TOP 3
ReplyDeleteHas no one mentioned In Need of Romance yet? Tightly scripted and sophisticated dialogue. The girls are georgeous and charming(sorry I'm a guy) even though they intentionaly have different personalities. The themes and dialogue are sometimes pretty frank, which can be boundry pushing for a k-drama. Its just high quality all around. Also dont miss Romancing The Idol 1&2, which is a K-POP idol dating reality show. Sometimes real life is just like a k-drama!
ReplyDeleteWarrior Baek Dong Soo, And the Slave Hunters were great. Bread, Love, and Dreams was amazing though it was long, i also liked Shining Inheritance and Padam Padam, 49 Days was cool too. Master of Study I really enjoyed, and I think you can go without watching Dream High 2, it's a waste. Shut Up Flower Boy Band was pretty good surprisingly, a little disappointed in the ending though. Heartstrings was cute and My Fair Lady turned out to be better than I expected, but I would definitely check these out!
ReplyDeleteUmmm... You're Beautiful is one of my favorites. I love that and so do many others... I just don't want people to think it's horrible based on this list. Haha :) I agree with you on everything after that! ;)
ReplyDeleteCity Hunter, Boys Over Flowers, Vampire Prosecutor, Silenced, and The Man From Nowhere are all a must watch ! Idk of "Silenced" was on the list..
ReplyDelete-Gentlemans Dignity.
ReplyDelete-Que Sera Sera. awesome. mehn. the kissing scene was perfect. Eric Mun is hottt. ouch!
-King to Hearts.
watch shark and heartless city...will keep you hooked and is really amazing....good actors and actresses
ReplyDeleteThe way boys over flowers ended there has to be a 2nd part. She never gave him an answer to his proposal nor did she accept the ring and that bothered me.
ReplyDeleteWell I do have a long list of kdramas I like so I won't say them all...but I do like Spy Myung Wol (It's on drama fever). This was my first korean drama so I may like it just cause of that but it has some real good parts (especially for a newbie). It has comedy, cuteness, and a little drama so it isn't as strange as BOF came across at first (Boys over flowers is amazing even if it is a bit over the top) ^_^ I also recomend reading the manga Hana Yori Dango (at mangahere.com)I am not a huge manga reader but even though it is long and has one dubcon :( It is worth it! Give it a try! Also Shining Inheritance it took me a WHILE to get into since I am more of a romcom fan but overall it was excellent and worth it, really good moral to it too. It has a great plot just with there were more OTP since I love romance :3
ReplyDelete200 Pound Beauty
ReplyDeleteBoys before flower is d best.try watching it am in love with geum jan di does any one knw any of her new korea drama
ReplyDelete49 days is a must watch if you haven't seen it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI recommend Werewolf Boy and R2B: Return to Base for movies. Other Kmovies I've watched are: Pieta, Antique Bakery, No Regrets, 200 Pound Beauty, My Sassy Girl. Actually, I'm more of a drama person. Anyways, for SoNes and LJS fans, look forward for NO BREATHING this October, I think? :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I still haven't come across any K-dramas I didn't like, much less quit watching. I've been waiting for that other shoe to drop, though. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteCity Hunter was probably my "least" favorite, but I still really liked it.
Of the ones you don't have marked, I saw and really liked Shining Inheritance (which I think is more like the romantic comedies you have listed), Padam Padam, and The Musical. LOVED My Fair Lady. I've just started Operation Proposal and am really liking that too, and again that seems more like rom-com than melodrama.
Heartstrings is amazing!!! ♥ Its a must see c:
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it was quite as deep or clever as some other ones I've seen, but the cast was consistently enjoyable, and then the last couple of episodes really vaulted up there for me. Definitely would second the recommendation.
DeleteI am new to Korean dramas and I just finished 49 Days. Definitely a must see. Could not stop watching. I was instantly hooked on the storyline. Watched it in 5 days. Currently watching Secret Garden.
ReplyDeleteThe best Korean movie I've seen on Netflix is A Moment to Remember.
ReplyDeleteThe following are the now unavailable streaming on Netflix:
ReplyDeleteFull House
Dream high
Dream high 2
Operation Proposal
Flower Boy Ramen Shop
Becoming a Billionaire
There might be more but this is what I found when I tried to watch a few of them.

ReplyDeleteBest movie: Traces of Love. Lovely story of lost and found love. Based on true building collapse in SK. Have tissues available.
ReplyDeletePS: I don't like movies with sad endings. Is it ok to note if a movie does not have a happy ending?
Does anyone remember the name of the movie where the girl runsaway from home to join a suicide club founded by a girl who was left in a subway locker as a baby? if so please email me
ReplyDeletesteweydewey2@gmail.com
Sadly, Heartstrings and 49 Days are scheduled for expiration on NF after tonight. I just finished HS, and although it was mostly pretty average overall, it was still very enjoyable, and picked up nicely in the last couple of episodes. 49 Days was promising for the couple of episodes I saw, but I just won't be able to finish it before it leaves NF.
ReplyDeleteAre all the deleted dramas being replaced or is NF just going to eventually eliminate Kdramas? I dropped NF since I have seen all their dramas that I wanted to see and subscribed to Dramafever instead. It's very good except you can't see thumbnails (I don't know exactly what they're called) when you fast forward.
ReplyDeleteNetflix did add a few dramas within the last few months (like 12 Men in a Year), but they do seem to be losing more than they are adding, which is sad.
DeleteIt looks like they just added a few more popular ones, so that's good news!
DeleteMy Girlfriend is a Gumiho <3
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend The Great Doctor/Faith. It was amazing. Not only did it have a great story but the characters were really well portrayed and you can't help but get attached to a few of them. I've only recently started watching K-dramas but I have found that no matter what the story is if the characters are well written and acted you follow their ups and downs and root for them until the end no matter what. FIGHTING!!
ReplyDeleteoh yeah
ReplyDeleteI loves " the great doctor" by lee min hoO. He So handsome, the girl (doctor) plays very good and cute. Romantic movie. About surgery doctor move to imperial years. Love it so much watch at Netflix or YouTube. N 5 stars there
ReplyDeleteLate Autumn starring Chinese actress Wei Tang and Korean actor Bin Hyeon is available for rent but for some inexplicable reason not streaming on Netflix. Its a half American half Korean production set in Seattle. It features one the best female performances I can remember. Bin Hyeon's acting is brilliant as well, its just that Wei Tang is so good. Its a near perfect movie, I cant find anything wrong with it. Highly Recommended.
ReplyDeleteI'm so annoyed. I can't get any korean dramas on my netflix and dramacrazy only has part 1 for the rest of the episodes of the dramas i was watching. I don't know what to do I can't find them anywhere in England
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Vivi.com? I know they stream to some countries in Europe, but I'm not sure if they stream to England.
ReplyDeleteThe only K-Drama I've seen is Stars Falling from the Sky. I had never seen one, and the only reason I'm on your site is that I couldn't stop watching it. I DID have to make it through a couple of episodes to get into it, but I once I did I was hooked and am now looking for others.
ReplyDeleteI am watching Boys Over Flowers and I can't fall asleep. I keep hearing JanDi yelling Goo JoonPyo! Over and over again. Sigh. I am definitely watching City Hunter next.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite actor so far though is Dong WookLee from Scent of a Woman and The Perfect Couple.
That Winter, The Wind Blows has FINALLY been added to Netflix!
ReplyDeleteI am SO happy that my daughter turned me onto Kdrama! I must confess to several marathon viewing sessions over recent months. We dropped our cable tv subscription due to lack of viewing, and now between Netflix and DramaFever subscriptions that I can watch online, on my iPad, and on television via Roku, I am happier than ever! I've watched a good number of movies and about 20+ series so far- loved, loved, loved IRIS! What fun picking up a bit of Korean language along the way, too. :-)
ReplyDeletewatch secret,,,,,,,it is reaalyy goood. I loved it
ReplyDeleteLoved Playful Kiss. I've heard people criticize Kim Hyun Joong's acting but after watching the hideous Japanese version KHJ was very similar in style as the actor in the Japanese version. The Manny really was ok but had to watch it through to make my final judgment call. lol Stars Falling from the Sky was also a good series as was Shining Inheritance. I do get irritated by the "selfless"& "I'll just give up" attitude that often comes from the heroines in Kdramas and have to struggle to continue the shows! Enjoyed Creating Destiny but they had Eugene's character a bit too petty for me, could have eased back on it and made the series even cuter. Unimpressed with I Need Romance though, couldn't watch it all the way through and Delightful Girl Choon Hyang was dragged out much too far. Sungkyunkwan Scandal was a fun historical drama. Anyway, just my thoughts, we don't all share the same opinions on anything. :)
ReplyDeletewhy don't Netflix add a new Korean drama. It'll be grate bcuz we already watch all the drama that is in the Netflix.
ReplyDeleteFive Fingers kept my attention but would probably fall somewhere between really good and just okay. Very long drama at 30 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised you guys didn't enjoy You Are Beautiful. It's been my favorite so far.
ReplyDeleteWe've seen almost all of them. Oh no, were running out. Dr. Jin, The Great Queen Seondeok and Faith were great historical dramas. Loved dream high with Suzy, You are Beautiful, Pasta, Cheogdamdong Alice, Heartstrings, Rooftop Prince, Boys over Flowers, Secret Garden... well just all of them. I hope Netflix gets more up because we've seen almost all of them. Especially love the music and romantic comedies.
ReplyDeleteI am very new to kdramas. I was browsing through an issue of Entertainment Weekly that mentioned these dramas, and as I was becoming very bored with Netflix, I decided to see what kinds of shows and movies they had in the database. I started first with Playful Kiss, which was fun and enjoyable. I had my fair share of issues with it, but I feel like it really eased me into kdramas. The first Korean word I learned was "sorry" because Oh Ha Ni said it so frequently when she spoke with Baek Seung-jo. So, this isn't a bad drama to start with, especially if you're a newbie like me. Then, I moved on to Boys Over Flowers, which I enjoyed a lot more than Playful Kiss. (Some parts seemed a bit excessive with the drama, but that's just a minor gripe. That and I didn't get nearly enough of Yi-jung and Ga eul!) Two days ago, I started City Hunter (because I really enjoyed Lee Min-Ho's performance throughout Boys Over Flowers and I wanted to watch some more of his work), and I have to say, that I think City Hunter is my favorite by far. I'm actually surprised as it's not my usual style. I'm more of a rom com kind of girl. That said, I've watched at least 53 hours of kdramas in 11 days. Goodbye social life because it seems like kdramas are my newest addiction!
ReplyDeleteYou need to watch That Winter, the Wind Blows! It is one of the best I've ever seen, including the best pilot episode I've ever watched! Middle is a little drawn out, but the male lead is an amazing actor!

There are a lot of other free sites to watch kdramas on like Hulu, Viki etc if you really care about sharing good korean dramas with fans you'd list all the places to find them - not just your employer. It's dishonest.
And here was my response. I'm seriously not trying to be shady here! :)
ReplyDeleteSusan, Thanks for being open with your concern. Actually, if you look on our sidebar, you'll see that we have listed almost all of the places where people can stream Kdramas (including Hulu). I didn't include Hulu in this particular post because even with a paid subscription, you have to watch commercials, which is difficult for drama newbies. We included Viki.com for a long time, but we actually had a pretty negative personal experience with them that made us decide that, while we would still link to them on specific reviews, we didn't want to be affiliated with them on th sidebar. Kdrama.com came along after we published this post, but thank you for the reminder that I needed to add it!
To your question of dishonesty, let me say this: This blog existed well before either of us worked for Dramafever (and I don't even work for them full time--I just happen to freelance for them), and we always wanted to keep this as a place where we could be open and honest about our drama opinions. For example, we wanted to be able to say that Heirs (a Dramafever exclusive) was kind of terrible without getting Coco into trouble at work. That being said, our work for Dramafever has never been a secret, especially to people who follow us regularly on the blog or on social media. I hope that helps clear up your concerns.
Oh, I'm glad SUFBB is on Netflix! It's such an endearing story with lots of bromance.
ReplyDeleteThey just removed Protect the Boss in the middle of me watching! Now I have to watch on Hulu....with commercials.... :\
ReplyDeleteParagraph writing is also a fun, if you be familiar with

ReplyDeleteThank God for your blog. I have become a Korean drama addict!!! Best dramas in the whole world, in my opinion. Oh, I hope they translate lots and lots of them into English.
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really loved Cheongdamdong Alice My absolute favourite so far. I am surprised it doesn't have a star. But different strokes for different people. I do recommend it though, highly.
ReplyDeleteThe great doctor/faith was amazingly good I loved it defiantly recommend

ReplyDeleteFaith is my super favorite because it stars Lee Min Ho and he's very manly in that role!

ReplyDeleteTheres one more. (You're all surrounded)
ReplyDeleteCoffee Prince is awesome!!!! I just finished watching Gu Family Book and it was a lot better than I thought! It contains a bit of fantasy, which I liked, and it has a great story to it. I rarely cry at any shows/movies, but when I saw the ending of the Gu Family Book, I cried so much at the end... did not expect it. T-T I wish they made more episodes, though!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved the "The Great Queen Seonduk" I didn't want to sleep it was so riveting. I loved watching all of the Historical dramas. I love, love, love Kdrama.
ReplyDeleteI am new to Netflix and was trying to watch some K-dramas tonight, but couldn't see any subtitles. Are the dramas subbed or do I need to turn on subtitles? Is there a way to display the subtitles?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on your device, but yes, sometimes you have to turn on the subtitles. I know if I use Netflix on FireTV, for example, I can turn on the subtitles under the options on the show page before I hit play.
ReplyDeleteThsee aren't movies they are Korean TV shows. It is rude to advertise your own blog through comments of another especially when you clearly didn't even bother to realize what the content of the other blog is *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeletei love boys over flowers, but city hunter was my first korean drama ever and now i cant find another drama to compare

ReplyDeletehttp://www.drama-tube.com/drama-series/
Renew those Netflix subscriptions, all series and movies mentioned here are streaming again.
ReplyDeletePlease, tell me you're under the age of 11. I'd hate to believe anyone older would be rude to a fellow human for such a ridiculous reason unless immaturity(aka: lacking actual problems, empathy and manners in addition to the presence of the infamous "know-it-all" complex) was to blame. Isn't it obvious from Hana's post that there's a bit of a language barrier? You, however, seem to be fluent in both English and cyber-superiority. Yes, it's impolite to cross-advertise. Saying that wouldn't have been enough? Feel better now?? For the record, there actually are movies listed in this thread. Maybe you're not familiar with their titles or that topic?? OK with a taste of your own medicine, Love? Gracious. Be nice or be gone.

ReplyDeleteThanks, I didn't even think to look under the show pages options for turning on the subs. I used to just press the "CC" button on my remote to turn on subs, but that doesn't seem to work anymore (or at least not for the K-dramas).
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you provide a list of all the dramas currently airing on Netflix. I have Netflix Canada and some dramas aren't offered here. :( I was wondering if there was an easier way to search Netflix and see all the Korean dramas and movies that are offered? I used to just do a search by typing in "Korean" and a ton of shows would pop up but I can't seem to be able to search for terms anymore only actors and titles. Any tips on how to see all Korean titles at once would be great.
ReplyDeleteThere is a way to find them from a desktop. Under the "browse" button, go to TV shows. Korean shows is under the subgenres in the television section.
ReplyDeleteMiley is not porn! Kdrama fighting!
